Think what a better world it would be if...

So the Bro Bro and company family has arrived!

Thing 1 and Bro Bro assisted me in making Chocolate Crinkles!
I referenced these cookies on a post a while back: http://my-pinterest-board-live.blogspot.com/2013/11/you-scottish-fry-something.html, but I figure I will share with you the recipe directly as I am making them once again.

Chocolate Crinkles
Ingredients
½ cup vegetable oil
4 oz unsweetened baking chocolate, melted, cooled
2 cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs
2 cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup powdered sugar
Method
In large bowl, mix oil, chocolate, granulated sugar and vanilla. Stir in eggs, one at a time. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Cover; refrigerate at least 3 hours. (I did all this before the family arrived.)
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease cookie sheet with shortening or cooking spray.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls into powdered sugar; roll around to coat and shape into balls. Place about 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until almost no imprint remains when touched lightly in center. Immediately remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.

These are always a winner. Make them and people will love them. These guys did...

Until the next cookie crumbles...

**Today's title comes from Barbara Jordan: Think what a better world it would be if we all, the whole world, had cookies and milk about three o'clock every afternoon and then lay down on our blankets for a nap.**
